This is Stilops: AI employees per task, no IT department needed?

Stilops takes work off the hands of freelancers and small businesses: the work that keeps coming back, isn't difficult and therefore gets left undone.

What Stilops is

Stilops is a service with AI employees per task. You rent a role from a catalogue, for example secretary, administrative assistant or bookkeeping support, at a fixed price per month with a fixed number of tasks included. The catalogue currently has 29 roles, from administration and planning to support, HR and building small websites and web apps.

It is not a chatbot to which you put one-off questions, and not a platform where you assemble a workflow yourself. You give a task, the employee does the groundwork, you review the result.

Who it is for

For people who know the work but don't have the time: the freelancer who keeps their own books, the office without an IT department, the business owner who knows there are quotes outstanding that nobody follows up. You don't have to learn anything before you start. If a function needs explaining first, we consider that a shortcoming of the function.

How a task runs

Every task with impact follows the same three steps, in the same order.

  1. Proposal. The employee explains what they are going to do, before anything happens.
  2. Test run. You see the outcome as it would be recorded: amounts, categories, recipients. Nothing changes.
  3. Approval. Only after your go-ahead does it actually happen.

If you don't approve the test run, nothing has changed and nothing is deducted from your quota. The difference lies in what you review: you are not approving an intention, but an outcome.

Where we deliberately choose differently

Asking for approval in advance is something many automation tools do by now. What we add to it costs us something. The approval moment doesn't get lighter the longer the system runs, and no step disappears because a task has already gone well a hundred times. That is slower than an approach in which a system trusts itself more and more. We believe the work remains yours, even when someone else does it.

The second difference is that you rent a function rather than build a tool. There is no canvas to set up and nothing to maintain. The price is fixed in the catalogue and ranges from 99 to 499 euros per month, excluding VAT, depending on the role.

What we can't show yet

Stilops has been open since the end of July. We have no customer stories and no figures on hours saved, and we won't make them up. What you can check right now is the mechanism itself: with your first employee you get 4 tasks free, enough to see proposal, test run and approval on your own work before anything is deducted from your quota.
