Hiring AI agents in the Netherlands
Hiring an AI agent: three ways, and when to choose which
There are three ways to put an AI agent to work. An AI agency builds a custom agent for your process. You build one yourself with an automation tool. Or you hire a ready-made role by the month. Stilops does the last: 31 roles from € 99 to € 499 per month excluding VAT, cancel monthly, and every action first runs as a test run that you approve.

The three ways side by side
None of the three is always best. It depends on how specific your work is and how much you want to build and maintain yourself.
AI agency (custom)
- What you get
- An agent built for your process
- How you pay
- Usually by the hour or per project, often with maintenance on top
- Who maintains it
- The agency, as long as you pay for it
- What you see beforehand
- Depends on the agency
- Fits
- A unique process or in-house software without a standard connection
Build it yourself
- What you get
- Whatever you put together in a tool
- How you pay
- A tool subscription plus your own time
- Who maintains it
- You
- What you see beforehand
- Whatever you build in
- Fits
- People who are technical and have the time

- How you pay
- A fixed price per role per month, cancel monthly

- Fits
- Recurring work that looks the same in many organisations

When to choose what
Choose an agency if
your process is truly unique, you need a connection to in-house software without a standard API, or you want advice on your whole approach to AI. Then custom work is worth the money, and Stilops is not the right choice.
Choose a ready-made role if
the work comes back every week or month: processing invoices, keeping up with calendar and email, answering customer questions, keeping files in order. You don't want a build project, you do want a fixed price, and you want to see what the agent will do first.
What does an AI agent cost at Stilops?
You pay per role per month, excluding VAT. Each role includes a number of tasks. Extra tasks cost from € 2.50, and only if you agree to that. A few examples:
Administrative Assistant
Handles routine paperwork — invoices, data entry, and document organization — so nothing falls through the cracks.
€ 99/mo · 45 tasks included
Secretary
Manages your calendar, drafts correspondence, and keeps your inbox and appointments organized.
€ 109/mo · 50 tasks included
Customer Service
Drafts replies to customer support conversations and triages incoming requests.
€ 229/mo · 100 tasks included
Bookkeeping Support
Helps process receipts, invoices, and routine bookkeeping questions.
€ 249/mo · 25 tasks included
A task is one proposal that you approve and that is then carried out, for example one processed invoice or one reminder sent. A test run you decline does not count, up to three times the included tasks per month.
By industry

Frequently asked questions
- What is an AI agent?
- Software that uses a language model to carry out a task on its own: reading an email, booking an invoice, drafting a letter. A chatbot answers, an agent does something in your systems. At Stilops it only does so after you have approved the proposal.
- What does it cost to hire an AI agent?
- With an AI agency you usually pay by the hour or per project. With Stilops you pay per role per month, from € 99 to € 499 excluding VAT, with a set number of tasks. Extra tasks cost from € 2.50, only after you agree.
- How is Stilops different from an AI agency?
- An agency builds custom work for your process. Stilops rents out ready-made roles for work that looks the same in many organisations, at a fixed monthly price and without a build project. If no role fits your work, an agency is the better choice.
- How quickly can I start?
- You create an account, choose a role and see the first proposal as a test run. You can also book a free test run on your own administration first. After the test run, the first month of one role is free.
- Is it safe for customer data?
- Stilops runs on Hetzner servers in Germany. Model calls go through Anthropic in the United States; that is listed among the sub-processors. An agent only sees what you connect, and every action waits for your approval.
